Russia’s Hevel launches 2 10MW solar plants in Orenburg Region
MOSCOW, Feb 16 (PRIME) -- Hevel, a joint venture of Russian multi-industry holding Renova Group and state nanotechnology company Rusnano, has launched the Pleshanovskaya and Grachyovskaya solar power plants in the Orenburg Region with a capacity of 10 megawatts (MW) each, Hevel said in a statement on Thursday.
“After the launch of the Pleshanovskaya and Grachyovskaya solar power plants, the installed capacity of solar power plant constructed by Hevel in the Orenburg Region reached 25 MW. The plants are scheduled to enter the wholesale power and capacity market in March 2017,” the company said.
By 2019, the company plans to construct six more solar power plants in the region. The projected combined capacity of the plants is 140 MW.
